Command Table

Anyone else kind of done with the command table?

I went 0-5 and gave up as it’s simply wasting anima. I’m not really sure what’s going on there. I replayed the tutorial on an alt very slowly. Still, I get [bleep]ed up. It’s almost like they thought: How can we take one of the least popular elements of the game and make it worse?

P.s
I know there are going to be several trolls that respond to this within 10 minutes declaring “they have never lost a match”, “it’s so simple” - followed by weak efforted & passive aggressive insults like “get good.” I’m just going to add you to my muted users list, so don’t waste too much of your time.

Just so you know. The bottom warriors can be added many times. They arent just use 1. You can put 1 leader and 4 of the same dps guy on it

The un-named guys

Are you trying the non elite quests? Theyre good for leveling.

Are you putting your troops in the right spots? I.E. - attackers/defenders up front and casters/healers in the back?

It’s basically just a little D&D turn based battle system.

Also, you can place troops multiple times. If you only have 1 companion, you can add multiple of the same troop to the mission to fill out the slots.

Yeah I max out every time which is how it becomes so expensive with anima.

Are you making sure to fill all slots?

Are you making sure to position troops correctly?

I was failing stuff at first until I figured out that you could use multiples of the same troops. Now it is pretty easy and I don’t fail unless I am dumb and do something I am pretty sure will fail just to see if I get lucky. Spoiler: I don’t.

I won’t insult you though, we all like different things.

I’ve done both. Guildmates say its an RNG thing. They have lost a bunch too but at least won some.

If your health and dps is higher than theres u should win. Just make sure you aren’t using all healers

The Command Table is awful.

It’s extremely poorly explained and the rewards are garbage except for the Soul Ash mission which seems too difficult to reliably complete at this point anyway (I tried mine but forgot to check it before maintenance FML).

I read there are 4 mount surprised rewards

The ones that have the piurple circle thing can drop one

I did the 1000xp one to quickly boost my guys and now i havent lost. I do the anima ones and get anout 18 anima net per

Not bad for 5 minutes on my cell

I mostly had success just by leveling up a lot, doing things like putting mostly my whirlwinding skeletons when there’s stuff that attacks the back row because my spiders have like zero hp, etc. I usually also divide my health by the enemy attack and their health by my attack and compare the two values to see what kind of margin I have

I mean, yeah by my understanding I am …but the results would suggest otherwise.

only put the melee/tank units in the front, with the tank champion, and the range champion in the back with a healer. Thats been working for me, and taking the XP misions was a really fast boost up to getting my champions into the high teens now.
I only lost one mision, the rare ‘story’ one with one gold mob. I didn’t put in enough units as I thought a slim margin would be enough (the blue attack/health numbers on enemy side vs mine)… not so.
Also, usually you’ll get about 20-30 anima from a mission, which will take 14-20 to send, so you can make a slim bit of anima on these, and not lose much overall.

Getting the Companion App also makes this much easier.

I have yet to fail on one after completing 15 or so missions. Read the enemies abilities as well. How many companions have you unlocked? Get those easier bonus follower exp missions done. Do a little math, their HP divided by your attack vs your HP divided by their attack. Lowest number wins unless there are powerful abilities on the board that would tip the results.

Take a screenshot of your setup and we can probably tell you whats wrong

That’s a good idea. I’ll post it this afternoon.

One big thing to realize, is that you don’t only have 2 troops. You can keep pulling them down and fill up all the slots. This blew my mind when I realized this.

I put 3 melee troops in the front slots, the ranged/healing troop in the back slot, and the champion (or w/e they’re called, the named troops) in the back slot.

Works like a charm every time. If you do the anima missions, it’s actually an anima net gain.

Unrelated, but were you going for a pun by naming yourself carolessaskin?

The missions on the table give you health and damage numbers of the enemies make your number higher and you will win. Health can be a bit lower if your damage stat is like 200-300 above theirs.

Hard to help someone like that.
