I have my gripes with the game but damn you guys take it to another level
Unfair to the 95% of your casual player base that gets screwed over and offered nothing to do until 2023 and 10.0. I hope you stop catering to the wrong side of the player base eventually. This is why you’ve lost so many subscribers and likely won’t gain them back. Some of us genuinely don’t care about gearing up or even have the time to do so, it’s wrong and unfair!!

Vault is fine, just give us currency/tokens from bosses to target loot and vault as bonus loot.

This part specifically peeves me honestly. This makes me feel like you’re just throwing something at us because you’re behind with the next expansion. I’d much rather you just outright say “we’re behind and there’s going to be a content drought”. I know I’d respect you as a company a lot more if you were just honest with us.
I just think this is the worst thing I’ve ever heard illusioned as “new content”…

Fair enough. Personally I’d unsub if it’s not interesting enough. These changes won’t appease the lot and it was to be expected they were going to delay 10.0 ~ simply because of everything that has gone on in that company.
I suspect with Microsoft taking over, and the devs getting wakened up to the reality of it all, they are probably doing a lot of changes internally for 10.0 and stuff.
Blizzard if you see this and plan to “shake things up” as much as possible, please PLEASE DISABLE ALL PVE GEAR EFFECTS IN PVP.
Do whatever you want with PvE, but DISABLE IT ALL IN PVP or that “Eternal Gladiator” Season will be the most painful thing to have ever existed in this cursed game.

This is a really cool idea. I hope in the future that we can vote on a dungeon or two to carry forward into the next expansion for Mythic+. I miss Tol Dagor and Mechagon: Junkyard 
FOMO. Fear of missing out. It’s a real thing, and it’s what will happen. People will 100% feel the need to do everything, due to FOMO. FOMO costs people everything they own, they lose their entire life savings to FOMO.
FOMO is real. It’s not just for the finance industry. It is something Blizzard designs their game around to keep people playing, because once they stop the chances of returning drop.
FOMO overrides self control. FOMO feeds addiction. FOMO = high player engagement, the statistic they base all their proof of success around.
Why announce a delay if they don’t have all the details yet?

So this obviously means the xpac is a looooong way out. Which isn’t actually that unsurprising.
But this is a really, really cool way of potentially giving us fun ways to kill time while you work on it. Thanks blizz!
Honestly, other than the production delays you did so much right with shadowlands and I hope in the xpac you can: Let me mythic raid with friends across servers from day 1. Add or reduce to mythic 10man raids. Make everything even more alt friendly.
Being honest about the expansion being delayed isn’t a bad thing.
It’s a much better thing to do something like Season 4 and rehashing old content as filler instead of what we had between 9.0 and 9.1 where it was 8 months of literally nothing inbetween.
This isn’t something they’ve done before.
The real april fools joke is people voting for skyreach (the most annoying dungeon in the game), lower blackrock spire, and literally IRON DOCKS over AUCHINDOUN, one of the coolest dungeons ever put into wow :\
