How is the current status of this server? Is it true that RP servers aren’t phased with other realms? If they aren’t this really appeals to me because I (and my two friends) would like to play with a more consistent and stable community where you can make friends, rivals, enemies etc. instead of having players constantly disappearing.
The three of us are happy to play on an RP-PVP server and partake in all the fun involved with RP. Is alliance or horde more in need of new players or are the ratios pretty even?

Come to Alliance friend. Look at The Watch guilds. Divine Inquisition, Kill Order, Lionguard, Peak Performance, Clan Battlehammer, The Order, Devils Den. All great guilds. You will find consistent players on EDream.

Thanks for the info! We have never played alliance before so it would be cool to try something new (although the entire game is going to be new since it’s been so long).
What’s the deal with phasing/sharding on RP servers? Is the entire server contained to itself with the exception of doing BG’s/Arena?

Thats what was promised to RP realms. Not realy how it is.
ED itself is sharded. You and another could be in same zone, both warmode, and not see each other.
We also get phased, in some zones, with smaller rp realms.
And of course people can still get anchored here.
Its better than normal servers, but still a mess.
Alliance. Join one of the guilds that belong to the Watch (a coalition of guilds that help each other in wpvp).
