Pressing the button will eliminate all Shadowlands-related lore, never to be heard of again.
But it makes Med’an canon.

Yeah but Shadowlands was rancid.
I’d push the button since knowing the current team they’d mess up Med’an’s lore which might actually improve it.

Med’an doesn’t matter. Characters have arbitrary amounts of power based on the story Blizzard wants to tell at the time. Malfurion ranges from unkillable god to literal fish out of water. Jaina tends to do the same (although her lower end is probably a bit higher).
Me’dan would be no different, regardless of background lore. He’d be useless or absent if him being OP was detrimental to what Blizzard wanted to do at the time.

Not unless it also prevents the current WoW writing/story/narration team to be moved onto non-activision related stuff, because they’re the root of the issue.

No, I really liked Shadowlands. I still like it. I’ve been leveling Void Elves to get them ready for DF.

No, also I want Med’an as canon. The current characters are growing tiresome.
Add BFA on there and sure undo all the stuff they did to Sylvanas

If I DON’T press the button:
- Shadowlands lore stays, yes
- Me’dan remains non-canon
BUT ALSO:
- All comic & manga related items cease to become canon. From Broll Bearmantle to that manga girl floating above the Sunwell.

If it was to fire a few employees at blizzard or remove them from decision making, yes. lol
To remove Shadowlands & BFA? Yes, to save disk space.
It wouldn’t matter if I pressed the button or not, because the people writing garbo will still be here to write more garbo.

I like things about Shadowlands.
But the lore was a retconning disaster brigade that makes shamans, for example, completely nonsensical and makes Bwonsamedi the only competent greater power.
Med’an is just a dramatic power fantasy disaster, and we have a few of those.

Love or hate Shadowlands, I’m not sure the game would’ve survived the 34-months of Nyalotha that preventing Shadowlands from existing would bring about.
