As the title suggests, what do you find to be a comfortable level of haste as havoc? I currently only have 5% and well… it kinda feels abit awful being that low? Am I just perceiving it wrong or doing something wrong? Lemme know.
5% is probably a bit low. Right now I’m at 14% and I’m happy with that. You’re not really doing anything wrong other than losing a bit of damage probably by having slightly longer cooldowns on Blade Dance and Immolation Aura and a longer GCD.
So would you think it would be better just recraft my 418 ring to crit/haste instead? Since I am using whetstone anyways (because literally no other trinkets exist or ever drop for me), Im at like 67% mastery.
You would probably see an increase in performance. 67% mastery is very high. What’s your critical strike chance?

All very good. You could stand to lose a little mastery for haste imo. It would increase your dps because after a certain point having that much mastery makes losing the same amount of mastery less impactful mathematically (as long as your haste level doesn’t make you run out of fury, that is).
Yeah that’s the problem I feel like I have sometimes. Im just a tad tapped before my next fury gen skill is up.
If you are running out of fury now, you probably wouldn’t want to increase your haste level because it would make that problem worse. The other option is to tweak your build to get more fury generation in it and increase haste, but I don’t know what that would do to your DPS in general since you would have to replace something by choosing a fury-generating talent.
I’m at 19/20% and I think its to much. I’ve been trying to cut down haste for more mastery.
I think 15% is a pretty comfortable ST number for haste. I’m personally only at about 11%, but my next crafted 418 will probably replace a crit/mastery piece with a crit/haste one to boost the haste % up a bit.
Of course, can’t do that until I win the spark lotto. Which hasn’t happened yet

Yes with good fury generation 15% sounds about right. I was at 20% at one point and I was running out but not all that often. I was literally trying not to run out at any point in time so I cut my haste down a bit by exchanging a crit/haste ring (both were crit/haste at the time) for a crit/mastery ring and it worked better.
