The timegate on horrific visions cosmetics was removed today after people were rightly upset about it. Which means it was an easy fix they could have applied sooner. Perhaps before or after Ion’s “i’m sorry we messed up the patch, players deserve better, we’re listening and learning” interview.
Ion can say what he wants, but what I SEE is that blizzard never fixes a single thing until people complain about it .

now if they could remove the passive tree gating. it has no reason to be gated besides forcing us to log in in a few weeks to do the content so they get a nother god damned sub month
The tree is a passive nerfing of content so people can complete it later with its help.
the tree is not a passive nerf. you need the 40% corruption bleed to get through it with 5 masks. let alone 8 masks

This is precisely how the AAA game industry works. They have a threshold for backlash they will accept and a pre-prepared “apology” ready if the player base exceeds it.
