I have noticed Warcraft logs does not show one of Fire mages abilities. Comet strom, from using Meteor. This is a large portion of my damage, esp on queen. 1.6mil dps in game looks terrible when showing 1.2 or less on the website.
Got a link to the log? Or at least the name of the mage character in question?
The damage of Comet is included in Meteor.

Expand the spell ‘Meteor’ and you can see Comet did 22M Damage making up most of the damage.
(It’s kind of funny that most of Metoers damage seems to come from Comet Storm?)

As the guy above said, click on the dropdown for Meteor. Comet Storm damage is included there.
It does show there, but the numbers are way off. In game, Comet storm is it’s own line of damage using any of the big meters. I do 1.6mil on H queen in game, vs 1.1mill on the log
Then the error is almost assuredly with details.

if I had to guess the extra damage in-game is on silken tomb, which isn’t counted on wcl

hmmm a guildie just mentioned “Add” damage, including roots, does not show up on the warcraft log. Can we verify ? because thats where comet storm shines, the roots on queen. I go from like 1.1 to 1.6mil dps
Correct. Things that players can “add” to the fight through incorrect play tend to get removed, or things where optimising damage for them goes against the goal of the fight.
Solved. warcraft logs since 11.0.7 no longer includes add damage unless you select unfiltered
