An animated series is needed and Blizzard knows this.

I wouldn’t watch a Blizzard animated series unless Blizzard had zero creative control over it.
This is the same company that removed harmless stuff from the game like the /silly “What’s estrogen? Can you eat it?”

You’d be better off linking Arcane season 1 trailer. S2 is not a good benchmark.
When the Warcraft movie came out, a lot of people agreed it should have been 100% animated, not live action hybrid. Yes, Blizz is long overdue for an animated T for Teen/TV-14/PEGI 12 series.
Look at Secret Level or Star Wars: Visions for more styles to play with for an animated series too.
It’s a very good benchmark compared to other “Mature” animations out there. Ricky & Morty, Harley Quinn, South Park, etc. Season 2 of Arcane is way better a benchmark. One can even say it’s… Leagues better.

May I ask what’s wrong with Season 2 of Arcane?
Pacing, story, treatment of characters (what they did to Heimerdinger was criminal), over use of music video montages, and another multiverse? Really? Did we need -another- multiverse? The art-style was still amazing, I have to say that. Their animators are top notch, but the whole season was let down by the creators rushing to end it so they could move on to the dozen other LoL shows coming. I was so super excited for season 2, but it really was disappointing.

Still much better than Blizzards effort.
This wasn’t supposed to be a thread calling out Arcane, they lost money on it anyways.
I just used Arcane as an example, as it is popular and current.
I simply want a Blizzard animated series.

Yeah. I didn’t mean to derail into Arcane. I just get in my feels about s2 because I really loved s1.
Anyway. Moving on.
I would have loved a Warcraft series or movie around the peak of Warth when WoW was at the height of its popularity. I feel like the actual Warcraft movie came at a bad time. A new series could work at rekindling more interest in the game (ie Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) but it would have to be a good story for old fans and new.
That is definitely what we should be getting. Warcraft, Overwatch and Diablo. And maybe StarCraft.
