I have come back to Era one month after Anniversary lauch, best decision I made.
I should have copied my toons originally, but; the reroll is as fun to me as if I would’ve copied my toons.

Thinking I might roll there, 150MS is worth it.

Yes please go to era if you like GDKPs so we don’t have to listen to you cry anymore in Anniversary.

Is era even alive? Havent been on there in months. Very few consistent gdkp hosts stayed on era. And last time i saw a post of someone begging for people to que AV to get a game going

As someone who thought it was not alive a few months ago… i was proven wrong during leveling over the past few months.

The leveling experience is truly awesome, I just got my new warrior a couple weeks ago and was able to get into every dungeon on the way to level cap. I level normally and my characters are solo self found-ish… Meaning that I don’t use gold or materials or gear from other characters, but instead I play as if I am leveling my first character on a fresh server on launch day. Now I am working on my Heroism set, but need the Chest and Helm from Valor first before I can complete that quest line. I do BG’s mostly WSG and its a blast!

Still raid and WSG on my pala but fresh character are so fun because the sky is the limit on content since its all still there for you.

You don’t even play either iteration of the game, you’re an actual plague on the forums.

Then you don’t need to recruit, right?

GDKP on era - trade gold on era for anniver , easy

** Crys about clicking a flower.

in all honesty era isnt worth playing rn. too many people on anniversary. i wish it was the other way around but is what it is

I see this the opposite way. Unless you are preparing to progress to TBC, there is no reason to play on Anniversary.

Stated another way: if you want to play vanilla, play on Era. With Anniversary there’s no guarantee that your character will be able to remain on a vanilla server.

The Mankirk cluster has felt really good for leveling so far (at least on alliance). I’d guess the Whitemane cluster is the same or better as it seems more populated. Plenty of people in leveling areas to get stuff done.

I have been spending the most of my time in Grobbulus recently. It’s very small with a dedicated community, and has honestly been some of the best gaming I’ve experienced recently. The people in both Legacy and Requiem are amazing and fun to play with, and leveling there poses unique challenges to overcome. Last night we two manned deadmines with a 25 holy paladin and a 23 rogue and it was a great fun time.

I think if I could transfer from anniversary to era I would, but the thought of leveling up again seems like too much of a commitment

Look hunny, another “beg everyone to remember era exists” thread again.

Y’all got your nice small 3,000 ppl server… shouldn’t you be wanting to lock people out at this point?

That’s larger than original vanilla servers.

i concur. the only reason i even bothered with anniversary is to secure a toon at 60 for tbc. im done now so im just logging onto my r14 sham on era on the wknds for bg’s

thats what exactly SRers did in era server lol

Games that dont recruit by some mechanism are generally doomed to die.

We are like an Undead Troll regenerating playerbase and there isn’t anything that blizzard can do about it.
