Twice now I've had the combat ally Vanessa Van Cleef disappear even though she's a bodyguard and should stay with me. Once was yesterday after server instability issues and then once today after dying and rezzing at a graveyard the follower was no longer with me.
Same here. My ally has disappeared. I went back to my class hall, unassigned him and reassigned him (at a cost of 50 resources), and he still won't come back.
Same, gone without a trace, tried to hire him again to no avail, guess I'm back to party of one.
Same here. Happened to me with Modera, who is a bodyguard as well and should stay put. I also tried the trick of unassigning and reassigning her, but did not work. Is this related to DDOS lag stuff, or is it a bug that'll hopefully be squashed soon?

Same here as well, had just finished Trial of Will in Stormheim and once the dragon I was on landed, Vanessa never respawned.
Emmarel Shadewarden's combat ally has vanished for me as well.
Zabra likes to vanish any time I do a vehicle quest (including simply being ferried about by NPCs for quests). He also sometimes poofs after flightpoints, he'll usually eventually come back from that, but not always.
At first I was going back and reassigning him, but then I found that relogging in place works too, so that's what I've been doing.
I haven't yet encountered him refusing to come back at all after reassignment or relog, though. That's nasty :(

lost Boros after i finished some questing in stormheim, was probably after the storm drake bombing run quest XX
Rexxar stayed with me before my pets got stuck in Stormheim while I was doing a rappel puzzle. I resummoned my pet and Rexxar vanished, never came pack.

I have Broll bearmantle and after gliding a great distance I couldn't get him to reappear. However, I fixed it by I can only assume going to my class hall, logging out then rezoning back to the zone where I lost him. Hope this helps, Good luck.
I have Duke Hydraxis as a combat ally. And just suddenly he has stopped working, after completing some quests in my hall Malestrom. Says to assign an ally, but he is assigned and I have unassigned him and spent resources reassigning him but did not help. This just happened.
Same here. Pretty much any time you enter then exit a vehicle of any sort this happens. You have to either zone or relog to fix it. Another unfortunate bug that creates frustration...

I'm having the same issue. I got out of a vehicle quest in Val'sharah and Modera has been gone ever since. Even after I moved on to a different area, she still hasn't come back.
I didn't even get to use Zabra one time before he disappeared, walked through a portal and he was gone for good. Stuff like this is very confusing when you're not even totally sure how it's supposed to work in the first place.
Rexxar has done this too many at least 5 times during lvling. Submitted a bug report since it gets alittle annoying having to go to the class hall and unassign then reassign to get him to spawn.
