they need to change the animation so your toon is lounging back in it, right now it sends a particular message i don’t think they intended to send when they made this chair.

My guess is that the Dev’s are just using each races sitting animation, to save the effort of reanimating the sitting position?

yep, but a fully staffed QA team would have told them they need to update the animations or else they are sending the wrong message.

I don’t see a message, I just see the same sitting animation used for the past 20 years.
Some people will make a joke about it maybe, but who cares? Everyone playing knows this sitting animation.

The average person doesn’t think twice about this.
That said, I wouldn’t mind a better matching sitting position. Something that looks like you’re lounging on a beach chair.

no i don’t go on twitter, but the sit animation is exactly how a normal person sits on a toilet. nobody sits in a chair like that.

Yeah, I don’t really see the point in these kind of things when the character models are so limited in how they can use them lol.
Edit: Also, why is the chair so massive? It makes a Night Elf look tiny so what does a Gnome look like on it lol?

After thought on topic: After 20 years Wow hasn’t changed the dance animations or given us new dance moves. So don’t think they are gonna change the sitting positions. I mean how hard would it of been to re-rig the model skeletons?
Perhaps they could of given the backrest of the chair a plain color. But ok I think I’m getting into waters I know nothing about here. So I’ll just shut up.
