Collectors Event question

Hey guys just wondering about this event… are you better off clearing the raids solo? Or would running with a friend cause me to lose out on possible drops if there is a cap on the amount of loot that drops and would be splitting it?

If anyone knows and could let me know that would be great, would just rather run it solo if it’s costing me potential drops, thanks!

I run with a friend, the time passes easier when you have someone to talk to, plus you can carry each others crappy alts lol

Loot wise, you’re probably better off alone however.

Absolutely 100% should go solo, all the mog drops for just you and you get the mount if it drops 100%, otherwise enjoy rolling against everyone else for everything. All the bosses die in one hit so no reason to bring anyone except to steal your goldarn loot

Solo means you get everything

Running with a friend gives you company and sometimes a quicker run (like splitting the ICC wings).

I am doing both, but when running with friends, sometimes you share loot and

I’ve been given a mount and take people through where I already have it, so maybe I can help them.

Legacy ones - go solo and stream to your friends.
Shared loot - go solo.
Personal loot - go group since it’s just RNG if you get the final drop or not and people can help you clear (E.G for Tazavesh you can split someone to the Auction Gallery and the other person can do Mailroom + Bartering - trigger the barter RP and kill the mailroom in the meantime).

For most you’re going to do them enough times anyway to get all the mogs atleast so far in my experience.

HUGE THANKS for this event, 4 mounts so far!

Lucky! All I’ve managed to get so far is the Swift Zulian Panther.

I’ve run:

ICC, Tempest Keep, Tot4W, 7 runs on Vortex Pinnacle, 2 runs on ZG, 2 runs on Utgardt Pinnacle, Galleon, Nalak, Oondasta, sepulcher, sanctum of domination, and karazhan tbc.

Little demotivated, but it’s just RNG being fickle.

Good luck out there!

I don’t think world bosses are part of this

That would not surprise me. They aren’t listed in the various resources I’ve seen, so I’m in agreeance with you.

Sorry had posted on my larp gnome.

I think what made it tolerable for me is friend started streaming (but probably won’t link it on the forums lest people hear how i sound like) so like 1/2 the time we’re interacting with chat (probably easily 20+ hours last 3 days). Get people hyped up for a drop n stuff. 1/2 of our Sepulcher and Sanctum runs we’ve done as legacy runs in LFG to help people who haven’t got the skip. We celebrate when someone does get it as it feels like ‘ahh this exists’.

Tho I can tell ya we have been hard at it:
Nighthold x4, yep was done with both mount pretty quick.
Sanctum of Domination x16+ (she got Sanctum Gloomcharger’s Reins, both still going for Vengeance). She’s at 30+ on SoD.
Sepulcher of the First Ones - 14x (I’m already done for this, but helping her for it)
Tazavesh x18 so far.

Got list:
Fiendish Hellfire Core
Living Infernal Core
Invincible
Swift Zulian Panther

Want list:
Vengeance - SoD
Sanctum Gloomcharger’s Reins - SoD
Cartel Master’s Gearglider - Tazavesh

Nothing so far in a variety of 50+ or so runs ;(

I suppose it would have been nice to include some sort of bad luck protection but it is what it is.

They said raid and dungeons before dragonflight ONLY so no rares or world bosses or anything else but raids and dungeons, also make sure you are on the correct difficulty for each raid and dungeon (usually mythic but some drop on other difficulties) google each one to make sure, otherwise you could run 200 times on heroic and not get a mount since it doesnt drop on heroic. Ive run about 100 runs with my alt army and have gotten 10 mounts so dont dabble here and there, take all your alts and run the same thing until it either drops or you run out of alts and then try again next week, this is the surest way to get the mounts you want.

Im sure your voice is as lovely as you are <3
