Would like for people to post what drops they are getting to let others know and see if this thing actually pays off.
As I said in the lounge thread, I got Alar from first run today, then the drake from Vortex Pinnacle on normal second run. Everything else I’ve currently run I’ve been skunked on though.
Right now I’m running the instances first, then I’m going to do the raids back to back since those take longer.
Got the Antoran Charhound on the first try. 
Haven’t gotten any of the mounts I’ve tried for today, but I’m especially after Sharkbait. I’ve been grinding that mount since BfA, gimmie my parrot!
I haven’t started but my wife ran King’s rest for the raptor on every 80 she has and several 70’s and didn’t get jack.
I am really hoping this is not my luck, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
Event runs all of July, so much time left.

The feels are real. Holy smokes. I’ve been trying for this for almost 20 years. I am stunned right now.
I just noticed that it’s Buring Crusade time walking week… So I could potentially get the Purple Netherdrake since my warrior is revered, but only just got there and I’m not sure if only 4 days of dailies can get me to exalted with them.
If I could manage that though, that would leave me with just 3 drakes left to get but… I’m worried about attempting the Blazing Drake, because I still have emotional damage from the Spine of Deathwing fight when it was content.
Does anyone know if Battle of Dazar’alor Mythic still requires a group? I’m guessing so because of the Mekkatorque fight.
I didn’t know it was for the whole month. I’ve really not been keeping up on any of this stuff, so I truly have no idea what is going on… but knowing it’s for the whole month has relieved some of my FOMO. I’m actually glad my husband isn’t playing anymore. He is greatly favored by the RNG gods - to the point where it become obnoxiously irritating.
edit: Since I was awake, tried for the Astral Cloud Serpent - unsuccessfully. I did get alot of gear drops. Only 4 pieces of plate though, and two of them were the same thing. Most of what I got was mail. meh.
The increase in gear drops is definitely a thing and a nice consolation for running raids / dungeons when you aren’t getting mounts to drop.
Luck is not always great and I’ve definitely had some crummy drops, but a month of increased chances is a really great move on Blizz’ part.
There’s tons of gear I still want that never seems to drop, so I will definitely be busy in game through July.
I suck with drop rates. If a drop rate is 99%, I will be the 1% forever.

Nope, you can solo Mekkatorque. Just takes some time to get it done.
I did ICC early today on my farming toon that has enormous large bags and I filled them completely up with epics. No mount, but by God was that a lot of epics.
Somehow got Mimiron’s Head on my first run.
Blizzard really wants people to be subscribed, because this feels like a ‘break glass’ type of event.
It’s fun but it feels desperate at the same time.
Figures this would go live shortly after I snagged the Deathcharger’s Reins and Onyxia 
Yeah, I agree there is a slight whiff of desperation about this. However, it is nice to have a better chance at a mount you might been farming forever.
I pulled up Simplearmory and put together my run list for all the mounts I’m still wanting. And I have already tried ICC 10 times, and no Invincible still. cries
Managed to snag a crawg from Underrot before I went back to to nothing dropping. A lot of work so far for nothing, it feels.
I wish that Blizz would make a lot of these ground mounts into flyers.they don’t even need wing or special animations, just make them fly.
Keep in mind although the increase seems to be a flat 5%, it’s still just an increase not a guarantee.
I’ve seen people griping that it’s only 5% (and yes, I’d like it to be more too. I’ve spent many years trying to get some of these mounts/mogs) but the 5% added to whatever rate the drop was prior to the buff is also added to the increase.
Example, one of drops has been buffed 25%, meaning the original drop rate was 5%. That’s a big increase. No one really knows which drop it is, but the guess is the Warglaives from BT, since you need (2) for the set. The “double transmog” drop rate, should put the chances of those glaives dropping even higher than 25%.
Like anything else in this game, go in with zero expectations and you won’t be disappointed. I got lucky on the Deathcharger, but since then my only luck is extra mogs, mostly lowbie greens but a few blues.
Ran Ulduar, got no mount and realized I already probably have 90% of the mogs in there, so that was not a consolation.
Blizz gave us a nice buff. I’ll take it, in the hopes that I can get some wins out of it.
