Collecting the initial covenant armor sets, is there a better way?

This question is relating to the Covenant armor sets you get when progressing through their story campaigns, not the cosmetic sets that open through renown.

I’ve got character of each armor type that I’m getting to 80 renown on and playing through each covenant campaign. Once I’ve done that I’d like to go to the different covenants and get the campaign armor appearances for each one.

Is the only way to get those appearances by playing through the campaign? Are there any skips I can use and still collect those armor appearances? I’m just trying to figure out if there’s a way to do it without playing through each covenant campaign 3 or 4 times.

I believe you can just buy the 40 renown item at Oribos and then use anima to buy each piece from the armor vendor guy in each covenant. I don’t remember if the requirement to unlock purchasing the armor is renown or completion of specific campaign chapters though.

nope, it’s designed to keep collectors busy, i been playing since launch and am still chipping at it. if you want to speed things up beyond me though you just spend all day in ZM killing Rares and Looting Chests for Anima, Korthia too as both those spots are plentiful for Anima.

You only need 1 character with renown 80 for all covenant to make them account unlocked regardless of armor type.

The fastest is to have your main or whatever character uses the most covenant a to 80 in all of them then run 1 alt of each armor type though the campaigns switching each time they finish until you have all 4. Thatll unlock the look for the full account because 1 is already renown 80 with them.
The renown skip for the initail sets isnt super useful since they’re unlocked by quests not renown levels.

For the initial set, yes. That’s the only way. There are no skips. You will have to play through each campaign four times, though it gets easier as you go and there’s no time-gating from renown, etc.

Unfortunately, yes. Doing the campaign is the only way.

Nope.

You can’t. They have chapter requirements.

The base set requires campaign chapters and renown. You can get around the renown easily but you still gotta do the campaign to get the set. Night fae is the worst for this imo because the storyline sends you all over the freaking place. Even drustvar and nazmir. The flow doesn’t make a lot of sense. One minute it’s tyrande the next it’s Bwonsamdi

Yeah, it definitely felt like they were trying to shove three stories (Covenants, NEs, and Trolls) into one.
