Collecting Nerub N/H/M tier appearances in this patch

So, with this wowhead article, we can easily get LFR appereances.

I have swapped to ret this patch. Are there any ways to obtain S1 items for catalyst to get appearances? N/H/M modes.

Yes! Raid drops still have the respective appearances when you put them in the catalyst which now has infinite charges for S1.

Just change raid to the respective difficulty and get the bosses down.

You’ll need a group cause it’s a relatively recent raid.

I believe all siren isle drops are S1 gear either Veteran or Champion track. Otherwise, you’d unfortunately need to find a raid group to run with.

Just do Siren Isle, get full set of LFR appearances. Though this is old news, the S1 catalyst charges were unlimited already.

Yea it’s lame they didn’t let you upgrade. I almost had all Nornal sets on alts but I had to wait for charges and then they stopped you from upgrading

The usual method is to prep a ‘post-season catalyst set’ for all the slots you want. Like, All slots at veteran 1-4, another set at veteran 5-8 or champion 1-4, etc since the taking away of upgrading previous season gear and getting unlimited charges for old season catalyzing seems to be a common trend since DF.

Was that a thing in Dragonflight? I thought it wasn’t, as I believe there was a period where Survival hunters wanted S3 4 set in Season 4, but it was no longer able to be upgraded to max level

DF used a separate optional currency that you can still obtain to this day to upgrade DF S1 gear. So you can still get LFR, norm and heroic mogs from the raid without ever stepping foot in VoTI (sans weapons). Unfortunately that seemed to be a one-off since you can’t still get upgrade currency for any of the subsequent seasons gear in DF.

Season 1 gear predates the current item upgrade system, it just used forbidden reach stuff so that one does definitely work different.

Yeah S1 let you farm normal set ‘convert’ item and let you upgrade to Heroic.

I think just normal and heroic.

LFR (s1 DF) is only easily obtainable if your S1 set was voted in for S4.

You are right, it dropped off too after S1.

Buy the gear from the siren isle vendor. Catalyze it. Bam full set of lfr tier
