Collecting and Dress up

So you compare me to Russia? Over a video game?

Cool.

Sorry, I went too far.

It’s not what I meant at all.

It’s not super complicated. People like collecting things. Long before video games people were collecting things. It’s human nature.

Thank you.

I would definitely hope you meant that. The entirety of that War isn’t really a joke.

I have a collection of trinkets that either transform you or summon something. I wish they would make them into toys, along with some other items.

I wasn’t thinking about the other ways my comment could be interpreted, so yes, I truly meant it when I said “I’m sorry.”

I too have hoarded stuff like that. Like the brewfest trinkets. Some I opted to sell for gold since the bank needs more space. Yea I wish more stuff was made available as a toy, and they removed some of the zone limitations on some like the WoD stuff.

It would be fun if Blizzard put in an item converter. Where people could convert on use trinkets into toys, gear into cosmetic items to send to other characters, or pets into something else.

They have made toys on trinkets and put them on the timewalking vendor. They could just keep doing that. Like I like one of the toys from the cata dungeons with illidan. The trinket turned you blue. That would be like a nice toy.

I still have my Barov Peasant Caller and I would love for that to be a toy. Who does not want their own personal peasants? I have a fancy tea set, I need some peasants…and a house >.>

So uhh, exactly the same trajectory that battle royale games like fortnite have been on as of late?

i love trasnmog and the toys and such i think being able to change race ingame would be nice. this is something to do when you are done raiding, dungeons bgs arena’s are what ever. not everyone are raid loggers.

Oh yea I have stuff like that too. I think I know what you are talking about.

You didn’t exactly specify that in your OP. That was on you for not doing that.

Plus, you seem to think we can’t like both cosmetics and gameplay, i mean why do you think we like cosmetics and collecting first off? These go hand to hand. Their a bit of fun on top of the fun were already having.

You’re not only asking to take the extra fun away because you hate it, but arguably, what made WoW fun in the first place, that even feeds to some of fun people have of showing things off for the work they put in. If you don’t want, there’s plenty of other games that just tell you a story or just give you gameplay after gameplay with little to no cosmetics.

They still update some of them. I feel like every expansion I have to go through my bank and “learn” some of the knick-knacks I have hoarded away as they’ve become toys in the interim lol

My condolences go to your wall.

If I’m gonna be killing demons, undead and unicorns, I wanna look smooth while doing it.

As a science teacher, my response to your points is that correlation is not causation. Just because 2 things occur in proximity to one another, does not automatically require a causal link between them. Your claim is not supported by evidence so can and should be disregarded.

EDIT: Response to initial post in thread.

I wonder why it came down to having new eye colors being just as important as a new dungeon.

horrified face “Please…please just keep the fur on…” I have seen the hairless Pandaren images…
