Not sure if I am missing a change in addons or Blizz UI but I seem to be missing the breeds of pets I have already collected when in a battle. When I start the battle it will show that what I am fighting is BB. Hovering over the enemy will show available breeds but at the top where it has shown “Collected” and would have level, rarity and breed (represented as a Heart & Sword for H/P for instance), it is just showing a pet level and rarity (green 23 for example).
Not sure if this is a switch that got turned off in an addon or what but it was pretty handy to be able to say “OK, this pet has 3 breeds, PS, PB and PP… I see I already have the PP and PS so even though it is a Rare Blue…I don’t need this PP again.”
I am using Pet Tracker, Battle Pet BreedID and Rematch but didn’t really see a switch that might have been toggled off.

The whole bottom box is added by Battle Pet Breed ID. If you go into the Settings for it, (Options → Addons) you can tick the boxes on the right hand side under
In Tooltips, show…
I am nearly sure that the “Collected:” line in the top box, with the icons for breeds, is from PetTracker. I just haven’t spotted where it’s getting its breeds for your collected pets from yet, and my eyes are getting blurry.
But my first thought is that set of calls is failing for some reason, so that it doesn’t have the breeds to display. I don’t see any relevant user-modifiable switches.
What version of PetTracker do you have? Mine is showing 11.0.8

Not sure how to add a link to an image of mine that isn’t hosted somewhere. Not something I do really and direct uploads don’t seem to be a thing here LOL.
Basically, for me, it just shows green 23 23 23 under what I have collected but doesn’t tell me what breeds. If you figure out the switch, let me know because it just seemed to start.
Looking at it, it may just be a thing in TWW which is where I am catching them right now. I pulled up a character in SW and had him go to Elwynn and it showed properly. So perhaps it is something in the way the game is pulling the info on the new pets?
