can anyone tell me how you actually use this?
Maybe it’s because I’m leveling, but I have yet to be able to use it even one time yet. Even in tw dungeons when it takes 3 minutes to kill a boss I haven’t been able to do this yet. I’m currently like level 38.
honestly is it even a talent worth having?
Maybe it’s just me, but 30 soul fragments DURING metamorph seems a bit ridiculous of a requirement. Again, maybe it’s because I’m just not leveled, but I’m out of the form long before hitting 30 fragments.
It’ll get easier once we get the new talents
It’s not worth taking until level 90 when we have the additional talent points.
The goal is to pop meta, pop collapsing star, and then to consume/reap to fit two more collapsing stars in. Casting collapsing star or eye beam pauses the fury drain.

The spec is currently trash until level 90. They did a horrible job with the design when all they had to do was look at destro lock and chaos bolt. The lack of communication throughout the beta and up to this point has convinced me it was a cash grab for midnight to try and sucker people into resubscribing. I just don’t think they give a shot about the community in general. They also couldn’t even be bothered to give it any sort of new customization options lmao.

i’ve been able to do it but only on dummies, and only in the melee build with some very specific talents, and you need the 2 charges of soul immolation talent specifically, not the %chance for soul immolation passive, and bank one of your soul immolation charges to use during meta.
pop meta, hungering slash into backflip into reap into hunt, void ray, soul immolation, consume and reap, another void ray. something like that and you should be able to just squeeze out one collapsing star before running out of meta juice. the void rays are important because they reduce your fury drain and generate the most souls, and getting as much fury gen as you can via talents like singed spirit, voidglare boon, and scythes embrace+umbral blade seems to really help
before you get those fury generating talents though and the melee combo end talents on the left side, i think it would be quite difficult or potentially impossible to get a collapsing star off. the spec definitely seems designed around level 90 only.
Yeah you just can’t use it until you are high level. You need too much haste for it to work at that point.
