I always check if mounts are ground only.
I’m only interested in the flying ones myself.
I don’t play enough instanced content where a unique or interesting ground mount would be of value to me.
Does anyone even use a mount like the coldflame in ground mount only content?
I mean, we’re getting a somewhat time-gated ground only zone patch soon in TWW.

It’s a large rock formation that barely looks like it can even stand-up. To top that off, it has massive metal plates bolted onto its body.

I still activate my bloodfang widow or Taivan sometimes.
If a ground mount looks good, it is worth using when grounded or just sitting around town.

i use it in pvp for example on a couple characters that match their mogs.
I heard it’s so small that we run across it in like less than a minute tho.
not sure how much a mount is really going to make a difference really.

It clearly says “Ground Mount” when you hover over it in the trading post window, and it shares a model with several mounts that also don’t fly. It’s not the devs’ fault that you leapt without looking.

see now, as a member of the Flight-Enabled Community, I care more about Ground Mounts (mainly for use in Dungeons where Flying is not allow).
I find that I could not care less about flying mounts, at least on my main character.
on my others, I got a Dragon, I got a Flying Disc, I got a Goblin Rocket-Powered Flying Skateboard, and a Magic Flying Cat, not sure I need anything else.
I’m STILL trying to figure out how the Alpaca flies.
