Was out gathering coins, had done the initial staff quest for 25, then had gotten up to 61 coins. Just after flying through Tirisfal looking for the elder I checked my bag and all my coins were gone. Went to the next elder thinking they might pop back in when I picked up the next, no luck. Not sure what is happening, but not really enthused about starting over after a couple of hours.
I would like to add to this topic. I put in a support ticket about completing the Lunar Elder quests only to find I was not receiving the Lunar Coins as a reward. I got through 12 before I realized it. As stated, I put in a ticket only for them to “pass the buck” to wowhead.com. Note to Devs: If I am putting in a ticket you can automatically assume I have already looked through that webpage and others, I DO NOT need you to recommend it. I realized you are busy but a REAL ANSWER to the problem would have been, “oh my, sounds like a bug, put in a report” OR let me look on your account and see if there is something I may have missed"… Please stop passing the buck on tickets… Its extremely annoying af!. -End Rant- Anyhow, I put in the bug report and I am hoping a solution will be soon, I have a feeling that I will have to swallow the loss of coins. Blizzard isn’t in the habit of righting wrongs and awarding loss items.
Update: The next dev that contacted me said he looked into my logs and I was actually getting the coins, for some reason, they were not showing in my bag or loot log. I logged on today and they were there. I also went and talked to another quest and got the currency as a reward. Thank you to that dev, that was WAY more helpful than telling me to check out wowhead.
Are you kidding?
HandyNotes and HandyNotes_LunarFestival is a good addon from curseforge…com for any coins that you missed … if you have the coins in the bank they do not disappear when the event is over
