So I’ve been gathering the items to make the lure to spawn Hirukon in Zereth Mortis, but the coilclutch vine is in a phased version of the ruins of vashj’ir. Having completed these quests back in cata and since then I’ve both race and faction changed which reset everything. Now I’m struggling to find the quests to change me to the proper phase.
Why are things related to the current patch being put into old zones are terrible phasing?
I am having a problem getting the Coilclutch Vine myself did you find it in a certain phase? If so which one?
Still haven’t been able to get the vine. I’m currently in the phase with dead seahorses scattered around the area. If I swim away from the ruins and use the Farwater Conch to look at the spot I can see the vine where it should be, but I can’t get to it before it phases out.
I was looking at a tower that was above where it actually spawned if that helps at all theres a tower directly below that i didnt see till someone helped me find it.
same i just did 3 days of constant fishing and over 3000 cast and finally today got it and was so happy, started quest got all items but the vine, because of the phasing issue. After 3 days fishing for goop im just dead .
I fished up the goop 2 days ago, collected the pungent blobfish and the flipper fish with no problems. I went to Vashj’ir to get the vine and like many others it was not present. I had completed the quest line in Vashj’ir many years ago as alliance, I am now horde and subsequently still had all the flight paths, etc unlocked. I had come in here to collect lense parts for the jellyfish mount from legion previously as well. I read that there are lots of people having phasing issues for the vine. So I went back and picked up the quest line from where I could and have spent time completing quests and checking to see if the vine has phased. It has not and now I am stuck as I am up to the shelled salvation quest in the shimmering expanse and I can not complete it. After doing some reading it appears this quest is bugged for those that faction change due to the npc being killed in the alliance version and therefore not present when you are horde to get the quest from. How are we supposed to get the last item we need to make the lure and get the mount with so many issues in this area. Are you seriously going to make us buy this item from the AH and pay someone a fortune because of errors in the game.
