This is a, um, “scientifically” proven fact.

edit: quick actual fact: Dr. Pepper was first served in 1885 while Coca Cola began in 1886.

I grew up in Australia where “fake cherry” was the flavour of Kids Panadol (cough syrup). So like many others of my generation, “fake cherry” flavouring makes us feel like we’re sick.

original Clear Pepsi was BOMB man. My dad worked for Buffalo Rock for most of my life and where I’m from they bottle Pepsi products…He brought that stuff home all the time when it was in rotation. It was AWESOME.

Pepsi>Mtn Dew (not that red crap or other flavored garbage)>Dr. Pepper>anything else except root beer>coke

Cocacola co. blindly obeyed a series of case studies that showed Pepsi to be slightly better tasting, even by coke executives.

So coke changed their recipe, called it “New Coke” and after awhile, people hated it.

They then brought back coke classic, and sold more products than ever before.
