Can we please get a glyph or a talent or something to replace Cobra Shot with something normal that shoots in a straight line?
I love Beast Mastery but I really hate Cobra Shot. I’m tired of shooting snakes out of a gun, I feel like a clown throwing around snake shaped party balloons.
Bring back the powershot animation from mop and make that animation into the glyph, its got to be sitting around somewhere in game files
here is an idea for blizzard. what if they changed cobra shot so that it would shoot like a regular straight line shot but have a ghostly type colored cobra head at the tip of the shot?
Anything would be better than our clown snakes shot.

I love BM spec but this is one of my biggest gripes. It just looks so silly, and the sound is equally as bad. Give us the option to glyph the animation in to any other shot animation at this point
I’ve always like it as it is, a visual glyph for people who care a lot about how it looks would be nice tho.
Bliz, please change cobra shot into something else. What are Hunters shooting? A snake? Its not a good effect.
I have always hated the snake theme. Nothing against snakes but it’s never seemed a ‘hunter’ or ‘ranger’ type of motif. Hawks? Cats, wolves? Sure. but…snakes? why?
I would prefer if they did this if they want to keep the snake theme:
Change the name to Cobra Toss - Reach into your boot and pull out a handful of snakes to toss at your enemy causing X amount of damage + X amount of poison damage over time. Occasionally yells “I have a snake in my boot!”
I genuinely laughed until tears came out of my eyes reading this, I thought I was the only one who felt that way.
They found it inspirational when James Earl Jones one shot Arnold’s girl with a snake fired from a bow. Rumor has it that the designer of the ability still whispers ‘seek’ when it’s used.
If anyone’s done the Ohn’ahran Plains quest on the beta that has you use a quest item bow to shoot down fruit, that’s actually about kind I’d want for Cobra Shot. It’s a super quick, snappy, slightly more arced shot. Add some very subtle thematic SFX and VFX to that and you’re golden.
