Cobalt Assembly

I swear to whatever power i can, if there is another Rep like this in TWW that is needed for the meta, I will usub. I swear I will.

This rep is bullcrap. It is. It just is.

Also, opening your map to activate a power is stupid.

I have grinded reps before. I remember doing a rep that I had to spam BC dungeons to get a hyppogryph mount. I would have greatly prefered that over this.

WHY IN THE HECK can I spend 30 minutes killing things WITH ZERO REP GAIN? That is bad, Blizzard, Terrible design, and yall know it.

This is only part of the meta to increase player time. Bet.

Just think, at DF launch it was waaaaaaaaaaay easier, so everybody who knocked it out early got a huge advantage.

Unfortunately, Blizz over nerfed it and never changed it back.

We need more things like Cobalt Assembly.

Independent of rep being in meta, idc.

Oh no… someone got the power, forgot, opened the map and died.

Wait a second

This is an under representation of how much easier it was. It was supremely easier, like do it for an hour and be done easier.

And the rings from it were pre-raid BiS.

Well I learned my lesson, for sure.

At the launch of TWW, I will be exploiting early and often. I will seek every single exploit/bug/glitch I can find.

That is the way. And Blizz has demonstrated that even if they do some kind of half-hearted roll back, you’ll probably still come out ahead of everybody else.

i ALMOST miss the days on the old old pre cata forums when posts like this were grounds for a permaban from the forums.

And how exactly is this post grounds for a permaban? ive been here since Cata, and this types of posts have always been allowed. Dont even try.

meh, by the time I got time to do it, the rings were already below what I could get. Though I guess it varies from spec to spec.

Is there something you really need from it right now, or just a completionist? If not, why not just come back when you hit 80 and blitz through it? It’s just a few weeks away at this point.

But yes, I agree, I really disliked grinding that one, even in a big group early on in the xpac.

here ill underline it for you. back then if you posted ANYTHING even remotely talking about an exploit. the mods would come down on you like the wrath of god and permaban your butt from the forums for even TALKING about an exploit. and it was usually within an hour.

In DF all rep are b/s , their goal is to slow players and to milk us.

Pretty certain they meant at the start of TWW they don’t want something similar to Cobalt, for the ring.

Don’t forget to get your 30% rep bonus from the guy in the “camp”. I don’t know if this guy has always been there, but I went to get some stuff from the vendor yesterday, and saw 2 vendors and someone standing next to them. It has a thing to fill out like the climbing gear or dragon riding points. One of the things was a 30% rep bonus. Wish I knew about that when I spent hours upon hours grinding that rep!

Yep. Was my first thing to do after I read the WoWHead article on this.

Im just…RA. I hate doing something for nothing, and thats what it feels like every time I loot a mob and get a grey with no rep.

I just realized what the Buffs name is that gives you more chances to get rep.

Fun Detected.

What. In the. Absolute H E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS is that? That makes me feel…mad. Just…mad. Literally making fun of the player base. What in the #)*&$830749384

Do what I did and just don’t do it.

I cant help myself. Its there…and its Taivan…and…RA I MUST DO IT.

man, i swear i dont mean to come off contrarian, but i loved playing in that area. the power ups were fun, and after about 3-5 minutes you’d get a decent amount and start to just mow things down. i would go grind out rep at 30 minute intervals, and really enjoyed that method because of the fun - to me - nature of progressive power creep.

I could leave the area, but also return when I wanted to - not having to wait for daily reset. It felt refreshing as an ‘anti-gate’ kinda thing.

sometimes ill still cruise on through and murder things there, just because I enjoy the wacky power ups lol
