Coalescing shadow spell

The AoE spell used by Splinterbone Shadowcasters in Razorfen Downs named Coalescing Shadow doesn’t drop after running out of the area of effect. It can’t be cleansed and it will persist even after the last boss has been defeated.

I ran Razorfen Downs today on a level 42-43 Ret Paladin, kept losing my health after we had killed some mobs. It was Coalescing Shadows, and it took awhile before it went away. It was definitely persisting way too long. I don’t know if the original bug was fixed, but it is still not working properly.

Just adding to this, Coalescing Shadows doesn’t seem to have a count down timer for when it wears off— if it even will. And it hits for way too much damage than it should. Mine, at level 39, full heirlooms and 2379 health, was hitting for 1248 every second. Seems a bit overtuned.

Looking at Wowhead, this seems to have been around since at least Legion launch.

This bug is still very much active. Ended up just taking the death on my healer to get rid of it.

Can report this just happened a few moments ago. This bug is NOT fixed.

Just had this happen to me. Was OOM for most of the time but could get a Enveloping Mist off for myself and my tank to keep going. Luckily they casted another one before the last boss and stepping in it fixed it.

Can confirm, still happening. Just healed a dps through it till the last boss. Seems a bit silly, got low mana off it

6 years later, and this is STILL bugged, Blizz.
