The exclusivity is the point. You didn’t earn it when it was relevant so now you don’t have it. Same with the old elite PvP sets or the MoP challenge mode appearances, or the various Blizzcon items (Tyrael or yeti suit etc etc).
If Blizzard were to make any of these things available again they’d have to make all of them available again, and the exclusivity is 90% of the appeal anyway.

P.S. I only did rogue and priest mage towers in Legion and I don’t have the bear form appearance either. Sucks to suck.

I’d say yes. Just put the Mage Tower in the Maw and power it for a short time with realm’s contributions of Anima just like the Broken Shore all over again. Just adjust numbers to account for the squishing, and wallah.

I think the main issue is that it’s not just a skin but an entirely new model. Like having a unique color like the fluorescent ones is fine for feral. There are other colors you can still get but this is an entirely new model that’s now gone. I don’t think models for forms should be a one time thing and then gone forever.

Should have played when it was in game, as it was an exclusive reward for the limited time challenge.
There’s been rewards such as the MoP and WoD challenge mogs in the past where people no longer have access for good reason.

I don’t know if that’s true? I think ghost of the pride mother is only unlocked via that challenge correct? Then you can get different colors for it. Much like the bear.

You can get any artifact still except mage towers.
Not in Druid’s case though. This an an entire new form model. I’d bet people would still use the new model even if all Druids could get it.
For druids, transmog isn’t really much of a thing, so when you are already super limited, new models are a big deal.
I’m 100% for skins to be rewards and not come back, but I do believe they goofed when for Druid’s it was a limited time thing for an entirely new model. If there were other models of bears to choose from, then you’d have a point. But there’s not, so I do believe they should have done the neon colors for bears for mage tower and left the new model for a BFA new model epic quest type thing.

Not really. Back in Warlords of Draenor, Feral Druids had a Talent which allowed them to have the form akin to the Sableclaws. The skin was only slightly altered for the Mage Tower form.
Not to mention, people are still using the form all the time at present.

That form was tied to a talent that wasn’t a very good talent. You still took blood talons. And it’s gone, so not sure what you mean people using the form at present.

this is all that comes to mind. Sorry friend, but you just didn’t get it… Like some of the elite pvp sets I never got in the past because I just wasn’t good enough. That’s life my friend

The wherebear form wasn’t a new form, but a skin based on the wherecat form of WoD. Not to mention, was based on mobs already being used.
And I did use it for time. It wasn’t bad, but mostly because Cat form has always been not great, so…
It should not come back. No I do not have it I never played legion.
What this thread should be saying is “having cool alternatives for our forms is awesome can get more new ones to earn with new content similar to how the mage towers were”

I don’t think that the Legion skins should come back, those were earned by players who completed the challenge at the time. However, it is a completely unique skin for a spec that has literally like 5 possible forms they can take. it’s not really comparable to the thousands of options other classes have with transmog. I think that the werebear form should be added in some capacity - maybe an ugly recolor or something slightly different from the mage tower one.

Claws was a bad talent option though. 100% tanks would not use warebear if it hurt their performance.
Whatever the skeleton, it’s a new form for bear and not just a new skin. They can leave those unique skins, but bring back the model.
I’m saying it was poorly implemented for guardian Druids because it wasn’t just a skin but a whole different model to use. Give them feat of strength, a title, and keep the skin, but if not that model then new models need to come out. Very stupid to lock it behind a limited time thing when new forms take many years to come out if at all.
They even have precedent here. Tier 3 from Naxx. They were unique, and lots of love went into them, then realized it was stupid to remove those models from the game permanently so they came back with different (and not as good) skins but the models are the same. It doesn’t make the memory of naxx any less relevant for my mage who raised it, even when it’s on BMAH now.
