Am I missing something or was there a reason, an actual blizzard endorsed explanation for why we have to cast 2 starfire’s to get a wrath eclipse? wouldn’t it be smother and make more sense that if you want a wrath eclipse just cast it twice and bam your’e in the eclipse? same with starfire. I don’t understand the logic unless there was a reason for it.
I can’t imagine its class fantasy.
Thanks in advance
It was designed around entering multiple eclipses per enocunter instead of constantly exiting and having to enter an eclipse from a non combat point.
In SL you had to alternate between eclipses. Couldnt do 3 solars back to back
So youd start off with wrath wrath, enter lunar, go into Starfire Spam. Then when lumar was ending youd have to transition into Solar. And entering/always being in an eclipse was the most important thing ever
How does one enter solar eclipse? That’s right, 2x Starfire…the spell youre already casting. So it was a smooth transition…once in solar youd cast wraths, which when solar ended you needed to keep casting wraths to get back into Lunar.
It was all about the transitions and balances ofn eclipses.
But people not fully understanding how or why the eclipse system worked the way it did, demanded being able to choose which eclipse state you get to be in
So now for say a ST fight you get the clunky wrath wrath wrath wrath, stop and change spells, cast 2 starfires, stop, change spells and cast wrath again instead of:
Wrath wrath wrath wrath wrath starfire starfire starfire starfire starfire, you have the clunky mess i described above
