We better be seeing immediate buffs after AWC for at least 1 DK spec and for DH. I don’t even play with a DH but I have seen one in 3 nights of q’ing.
You absolute clown developers gutted DK by nerfing Death Coil and dots by 15% just like you did in Dragonflight S2, followed by a rebuff to counter the changes in S3 because you messed up. Time to do it again since you guys can’t learn from your mistakes.
Have Death Coils tickling people for 500k max while I’m getting my face shoved in. Either buff our MS or bring back the dam, it’s only rocket science for whoever looks at PvP once every other month. If other classes are hitting their spender button for 1-2 million while having a MS, you can give us the same.
PS stop waiting for tuning for the 10 people that compete in the AWC.
DK is a class they can’t get right. It’s too user friendly. DK with high dmg can just mash everything in the open and basically win. It takes no brain power. DH is no different, keep em both where they’re at. the game is better when dk/dh aren’t meta.
I haven’t been que’n my dk this S…few shuffle for the set, but that’s it. so, idk if 250k coil is bad or not atm. you have to factor in the rolling disease dmg, as well as pet dmg. 250k may be fine, tbh. UHDK isn’t a big numbers class. it’s a steady rolling numbers class.
Also buff both classes sustained damage. Burst during cds feels pretty solid for both, but outside of cds they’re just tickling and passively dying because they don’t generate more pressure than they receive, which should never be the case for a melee with uptime.
Pyroblast feels ur pain. I look at ele earthshocking for 1-2 mil while im out here lobbying 200-450k pyroblasts
The kicker is our builder hits for 250-300k avg too.
You know a specs bad when ur highest damage is an honor talent: ring of fire that both frost/arcane also have.
Before anyone starts on that BUT WELL U GOT OTHER SPECS TO PLAY nonsense any given class all 3 specs should be competitive in PVP and relatively close to its peers or the same. Playing a spec shouldn’t feel like a self imposed handicap but rather a playstyle pref. Same could be said for racials but thats another topic.
If unholy is garbanzo you shouldn’t say oh just play frost dk cus its meta or blood dk if it happens to be a thing. Same for any class. Its your game blizz balance it pls.
How hard is to literally look at data or matter of fact PLAY your own game specs/classes and exclaim “Wow this feels garbage as heck lmao I better turn the knobs up on aura tuning”
I’m a firm believer that if racials were disabled in PVP and every spec was pretty on the spot close to each other there would be a WIDE variety of races and class combination in arena and people would just play what they like and not whats FOTM.
WoWs biggest problem is the difference between B tier and S tier specs feels like ur expansions apart and its not even close and its just frustrating which leads to people rerolling and not playing what they WANT to play without feeling useless.
End of the day its an MMO. A players class/spec/race should always feel like the players choice above all else without feeling like a liability or worse your griefing your teammates time.
What this guy said, the sustained damage outside of 2 minute cds is less dps than an evoker holding disintegrate in a wheelchair

So many people actually gaslight these devs into making certain classes terrible so they can maintain some kind of basement dominance over other specs
Also, imagine saying a game is better when x spec that devs spent time to make is irrelevant, if you ever manage to say that, and skip the first logical thought of just making the ceiling higher and lowering the floor, then you need therapy
IMO, the friction point for DK is plaguebringer and base diseases not benefitting from haste. Full value disease damage getting the 100% haste buff from plaguebringer on all targets just via you casting scourge strike on whatever is in range causes problems. I feel like if dk diseases scaled like other dots with your haste, plaguebringer would be a less problematic talent and disease damage in general would be easier to tune and keep competitive.
I also think that plaguebringer should provide a much bigger temporary increase to your disease damage, but you should have to burst a wound with scourge strike, and the buff should only occur on the targets that you burst wounds on. Use it in your burst and cleave the buffed diseases to everything. Outside of your burst/grips, you might can keep everything diseased, but you can’t reliably keep plaguebringer up on everything, however the thing(s) you’re able to keep plaguebringer on will be taking significantly more consistent damage. This seems like a spec model that you could put a lot more damage back into the right places with.
f tier is the only team worth watching every other team just cringe rerolls 30% of their team to essentially land in the same placings for the 19th year in a row
Make an invitational solo shuffle tournament per season. Top whatever % of unique accounts by spec get invited. You only get to play one spec. All of the specs get represented. You have all of the pros who will presumably make it, plus some unknowns from that season’s ladder who get a chance to make a name for themselves. Allow people to gamble on it with real money. Participants get a percentage of the pot that was gambled on based on their money line/odds when they win. Lots of people would engage with that.
