Just bought the cloud serpent from MoP timewalking and I found out cloud serpents can only be ridden by the character that completed the rep. Is this an oversight? and if not should it be?
Clearly indicates that it is account wide. You must be talking about the regular Cloud serpents?
This is not true. When you learn a Cloud Serpent mount on a character that hasn’t gotten any rep with the Order of the Cloud Serpent, you just get a special quest to go talk to them. Eventually, you’ll run out of new Cloud Serpent mounts.

Eitherway it’s a fun questchain! And with MOP Bonus week, that means bonus rep, and with the Rep Token thing which also increases Rep gain (Buy from vendor when you hit revered i think), you can get it done quick! (On alts mostly) I finished it in a week! But, I love Pandaria Content (10+ dailies a day! Woot! I’m crazy!)

Best mounts in the game imho, my Ivory Cloud Serpent is by far my favorite and my goto mount lol. Then I discovered Night Fae get Fox Serpents…FOX Serpents I say!

i’ve never done the quest line at all but i was able to mount the one my wife bought me from trade. i don’t remember what it’s called.
You worried me. I am about to get the last 500 tokens I need for this mount tonight and I don’t think I did any of the cloud serpent stuff on this guy or any of my guys other than rep mule human paladin toon.
