Please reduce the visual for this ability by 99%. It’s a huge detriment to PvE content specially M+. It makes it so much harder to see other stuff on the floor, to you and your party. It’s like an extra affix that makes it difficult for everyone.
They literally hotfixed it last night to only be visible to the rogue.
Did a key at 9pm EST last night and my group still saw it. Maybe it was hotfixed later. They should still reduce the animation for us rogues! Thanks for the update.

Cloud Cover is a cool visual to be honest and it doesn’t happen frequently enough. Trickster needs a huge boost visually and also DPS so that is a W.

mafic doesnt understand how frequent cloud cover is because he doesnt play rogue in pve at any decent level
he thinks that killing spree wasnt a 20second cd because he doesnt generate enoguh cdr from proper rotational.
Whats the point to take this talent if enemy cant see the fake bomb? Now we lose fake bomb talent.
Its a massive damage buff to you
if you played any content where standing in things had consequences you’d instantly hate having a giant obscuring cloud covering them but you don’t.
Ground based buffs/debuffs suck also because most things you use it on that matter have some movement involved, now thankfully it has a lingering buff but really it should just be a buff without the cloud. If this was still vanilla where the game was “plant boss in x area and stand there whacking it” then that wouldn’t be so lame but if you have to leave it it halves the buff uptime which is super lame.
yes, but when you leave the cloud your buff uptime is reduced by a ton. its not a fun mechanic and it obscures bad swirls
The problem is that when the boss zones you out of melee range, it’ll push you out of the smoke. Heavy movement fights like Paladins is a nightmare.
The buff lasts for 10s after you leave. But I only pvp so i cant really sympathize
its more of a issue for pve i guess
since in pvp your already used to having high uptime of any ability on any spec/class
