It’s quite evident that there’s very little effort being put into these two armour types. I propose that cloth users can have access to leather and mail users may have access to plate. Same thing for plate and leather users they will also gain access to mail and cloth for transmog purposes only.

I’d say this for Mail more then Cloth. Hunters T-mog is 
Cloth wearers have some of the best T-mog in the game prior to BFA. (Aka prior to Tier sets being removed)
There’s very little in the way for cloth imo as well, nothing but robes, no love for the legs or boots. Flat textures all around.
Oh, you want more Battlemage esk stuff. Yeah I’m not sure if that will ever be a thing unfortunately.
Blizzard seems to love their robes. 
Even my pally is always in a dress. If you don’t want to wear a dress main a warrior or something XD (in general comment. Not directed at you. Lol)
It’s a way of cutting corners for them imo. However if they were to have them be open where your legs show in the front like Lorthemar or Jaina then that would be completely fine since you can detail those normally hidden items.

I thought Blizzard would invest more into the FOUR tier sets instead of the twelve we originally got which were still far more detailed than anything we’ve gotten in BFA and SL(to a small degree).
I accept this change.
