But… that’s all part of the same message. The full thing says “Unique-Equipped: Shadowlands Crafted Legendary (1).” It’s just saying you can only wear one Shadowlands legendary. I mean I guess that’s technically “designating” it as one of those but like I said, I don’t think that has anything to do with the appearance unlocking system.

ah thats part of the pvp gladiator set. it will become available for marks at DF launch or maybe later but its definitely not gonna be gone forever

haha, I watched the same video, and it does look like it, but because of the black background its hard to see the particale affects on top of the hood. So i wasnt sure

You’re missing the point here.

And calls it a Shadowlands Crafted Legendary. Which you cannot mog and they specifically said we’d never be able to mog them, that’s why they added most appearances to Sanctum.

Regardless of whether it’s white or orange, it’s a Shadowlands Crafted Legendary.

Which may keep it from being mogable. Because it’s the same exact piece. The appearance doesn’t change, the designation doesn’t change.

funny enough the leather set after it , the gladiator one looks better than elite gladiator. i swear they skimp out on leather

Yeah, even though its text isnt orange like a legendary, it has the same description. But, now that i type that, it isnt orange, which means it isnt a legendary, it just has the same unique equip qualifier. I do think it will be transmoggable, because it still isnt a legendary, but again, i think we have to wait and see how Blizz handles it

It is a legendary. It specifically calls it a legendary.

Its not a legendary though, it just cant be equipped with anything that has the tag “Unique Equipped Legendary”. I dont think that necessarily qualifies it as a legendary. Its still a white item.

EDIT: How I see it, they couldve had the tag for all of the white items that craft into Legendaries and all of the Legendary items be tagged “Unique Equip Shadowlands Pwoer Items” the Orange text items would still be legendaries, and the white items, still white items.

Same designation, same appearance. Nothing changes going from white to orange. It’s the same exact piece.

But I won’t begrudge you being hopeful that it works. Because that’ll definitely save you Marks of Honor later. So here’s hoping I’m wrong.

It doesnt matter what the equipped text says, as long as it matches

Not for cloth :frowning: the legendary shoulders are the only ones with that tint.

So they should be transmoggable once the Shadowlands Season 2 PvP Gladiator set becomes available again. But i do believe when white items become transmoggable in Dragonflight, all of those white items that are used to craft legendaries will be transmoggable. Even though they have the tag : “Unique Equip Shadowlands Legendaries” they arent legendaries themselves. They just cant be equipped with anything else with that tag

I’m not saying it will be unobtainable. I’m saying the white gear has the same exact designation as the orange. It’s the same Shadowlands Crafted Legendary designation, same ilevel, same appearance, same wording. The only thing that changes is color. They specifically made Shadowlands Crafted Legendaries unable to be added to transmog.

So as I said earlier to the OP:
