That’s wack. I actually moved a legendary piece just so I could use its appearance on my monk’s mog, but it’s kind of wild that they just removed an extra color palette from weights.
SL legendaries are not added to transmog.
They did. They added most to the Sanctum raid. There was never any plan to make the legendaries themselves transmogable.
Except the base armor pieces have the same legendary designation as the crafted orange ones.
It is designated as a legendary on the white item.

In Dragonflight White gear will become transmogable. So youre not equipping multiple unique items, youre making your gear just look like them
I’m not talking about the unique-equip. I’m talking about how it’s the exat same legendary designation as when you craft it. It’s literally marked as a legendary.
White gear or not, it says “legendary” as its designation.
Were Legion legendaries moggable at the time? I’m a bit fuzzy, but I thought that was a later thing. Or I just already had so many of the appearances that I never saw the collections alert.
I get that, but I dont think that will affect transmogging come Dragonflight unless they make it that way

You mean the unique-equipped designation? I don’t think that means anything more than the equipping restriction. The Legiondaries have the same message and they all unlock their respective transmog.
I’d say them being white items is more of an issue at the moment. I’m still hopeful that they’ll unlock in DF.

All that means is that you can only equip one of them. Like I said, the Legiondaries say the same thing. Doesn’t have anything to do with mogging.
No. Because I’m not talking about it being unique equip. I’m talking about the designation of it being a Shadowland Crafted Legendary.
It’s the same designation on every single version of our Shadowlands legendaries.
Which is what may keep it from being transmogable later— white item or not. Because the current ones can’t be.

it pretty much comes down to what Blizz decides. I believe any legendary pre Shadowlands is moggable, but they said Shadowlands Legendaries arent moggable. Whether that affects the white items that say legendary i guess we’ll have to wait and see
Exactly. We don’t know if that designation will carry over to the white items or not. Knowing Blizz, because I have no faith, it will. 
This thread was all about the Cloth Legendaries, mainly the helm. Its uniques in that it doesnt have an equivalent look from the raid
