I noticed while running Priory of the Sacred Flame for cloth on follow dungeon, that my 80 mage gets far more cloth than my 74 tank druid. Both have tailoring, mage doesn’t have max Textile Treasures(cloth drop chance specialization), while the druid does.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is it a known thing? Is it because my mage is lvl 80? Or because my druid is a tank? Quick testing with a fresh instance as a feral druid didn’t change anything it seems.
I welcome all information.
Perhaps it is because the drop rates increase with the level of the enemy killed. The 74 druid would be killing lvl 73/74 mobs in the priory while the 80 mage would be killing level 80 mobs. That was something I noticed with cloth drops early on. I noticed the reverse with boe greens and darkmoon cards - the drop rate was higher at lower levels (but i think drops rates for these were nerfed across the board) - so Im not certain about anything lol - but it is a possible explanation.
