How does one get cloth in the War Within? None to be had in raid finder or mythic +. I may get about 5 pieces of cloth from a dungeon / raid run. Anyone knows a better way ?
You need to be a tailor. Cloth drops are very rare unless you have the tailoring profession which increases their drop rate. There is also a specialization tree that increases it even further beyond the base rate.
Basically, tailoring has a built-in gathering profession now. Minors can also get a decent amount via webbed nodes, especially if you specialize in them.

Although miners can get a small amount it is all rank 1 which is not so useful for high ranked crafts. You can also get a lot of cloth from thaumaturgy in alchemy - it’s easy to get rank 2 (and faster than cloth farming).
While thaumaturgy is great it can’t get you duskweave and dawnweave. If you need those cloths you gotta farm. Afaik there’s no other way to get those. Just thought I’d add that here in case that’s the type of cloth needed.
Agreed - I do a follower dungeon and a few select delves once a week which gives enough duskweave / dawnweave to fill patron orders. For the rest I farm the auction house.
