Shamans having the First Spec that is a Tank Spec could work.
Probably around the time the sun burns out or Hell has a sale on ice cream.

More that lore wise Chi Ji is the celestial that has used healing abilities. You are correct that the healing statue is of Yu Lon.
Alexstraza doing the Obama what face.
Red has always been associated with healing in the Blizzard games, like health and health potions. Ugh.
Letâs just make every class the same and call it: âClassâ
Henceforth all characters will be level 120 Class with talent trees for every class (which is now a paradox because classes donât exist anymore).
Maybe we can have a talent spec built around being naked with a mining pick but youâre actually a tank who uses a skill called âLogical Inconsistencyâ to mitigate damage. The casuals will love it!
So instead of removing one of hunterâs redundant range DPS specs, you get rid of their one unique spec?
Armor stacking would be fun, and I think a mail tank would be a good idea- as a dude said above, I think survival hunter would be a good candidate, but I also wouldnât want them to lose their ability to be a mobile melee pet DPS specs, which I do like; Idk what the right solution would be.
On cloth however, it would be fun to armor stack, but I donât think cloth suits itself to tanking thematically or in gameplay as it relates to the stats on gear, not to mention we donât have a cloth melee at all, and I think the only classes in any fantasy I can think of that would do cloth areonks and rogues. (Now that Iâm thinking about it, itâs a little surprising that monks got leather, thematically. It does fit them as far as gameplay).
It could play pretty similar to how it is now but with more nuance. The basic idea is to bring a bit more life into underutilized specs and get more tanks into a game where we are having a shortage. Also, why would you favor getting rid of a spec rather than converting one to a more useful/desirable spec of an outside role to break the redundancy? Did you forget that survival already changed once before? How does that differ from giving it even more uniqueness and ability now to perform a role outside of a dps trinity?
Three dps specs donât change the dynamic of redundancy because one is melee, at least to me. Converting the least popular dps spec into another role entirely would do that though -imho. Itâs the same feeling as survival⊠but tankier and more useful I guess is my point here. You arenât removing anything⊠just adjusting
I dont even use my fire shield spell anymore. My cloth seems to turn away even the sharpest of knives. Mages > everthing else.
This sounds very bloody familiarâŠ
Mages could have a tanking spec with swords and using magical shields.
Weâve seen mages using shields to even block missiles, or Azshara holding back a huge tsunami. Mages or Warlock was possibly the two ones that can take a Tanking spec.
Mages more, imo.
As for Mail, Shaman hardening his skin with the Earth element.
When pigs flll⊠I mean Girrafes fly
give my warlock back metamorph and his wings I will tank all the things you want
Iâve mentioned this before a couple times over the past few years and I usually get hit with a big fat ânoâ.
I think every class should be able to tmog every armor piece / weapon. (Besides really specific stuff like the legion appearances).
Whatâs wrong with variety? Plus, it gives us about a million other tmog options to toy with.
itâs already been started. Dark iron dwarf casters out here lookin like plate wearing monsters.
Give us variety !
Like covenant abilities hard? Lmaođ€Ł kuse if thatâs the case Iâll take 4th spec for all please.
Not trying to be rude here ![]()
You do know that the deepest ring of Hell is a completely frozen lake in an ice covered cavern, right?
I imagine it was just an idiom.
