[Closed] Fix for invisible weapons?

When you use specific back armor slots for xmog, some pieces cause your staff (in my case) to become invisible. Will there ever be a fix for this bug, or is it intentional?

If its intentional it makes zero sense.

I think its intentional, if its specifically one of the back pieces that are more of a 3D model than a cape hanging off your back? I guess its to prevent obvious clipping? I mean WoW has a lot of clipping but I think shoving swords through poor innocent murloc eggs is too far :pensive:

If they’re trying to prevent clipping, they’re not doing a good job at it.

It is intentional. Iirc it has been a requested thing for a while.

Personally I don’t want a fix for it.

It’s nice being able to hide stuff.

But if they did fix it, I’d hope they could provide an option for other classes like they do with monks, who have a hidden fist weapon transmog item.

I suppose people don’t care about immersion then.

“Hey guy! Wanna see a magic trick?”

“…”

“I’m going to make my weapon disappear! Behold!”

Sheathes weapon. Weapon vanishes.

“Wait. HUH?”

 be sure to tip for my performance.

There’s so much clipping with weapons and armour in this game it’s not even funny anymore. I don’t understand why they don’t do what most other modern mmo’s do nowadays and simply have the weapons hover further out from the players model. Just give the weapons some form of physics to sway a little bit so it doesn’t look like a stupid static object and bam! Problem solved.

Fist weapons have worked like that for a long time. They disappear when you “sheath” them.

Giving players the ability to maneuver their weapons in a certain threshold may help.

My Tauren and Vulpera appreciate the invising of the weapons…

DO NOT CHANGE IT.

Sorry.

Now if only the HM would have gotten the same treatment.
