Mine I didn’t “decide” (neither Wrath NOR Perma Vanilla, in time). I took a break, instead and in that time, Blizz decided to cut the cord on that service (sigh).
Its not anti consumer at all. In 600 days people had many choices available to them regarding a clone. These options ranged from free, $35, $5 and ultimately it not being available anymore.
Regardless of my situation I would accept that i had 600 days to act on a promotion and I missed out.
Doesn’t matter. Bringing it back would only help the consumer, 100% zero downsides. Blizzards gonna get on it after they drop SoM2 in 2026. Until then the customers just gotta ask for what they want, clones and world buffs
Yes, and even before their introduction, I knew the service wasn’t going to be forever, so I am still mad at myself, BUT that doesn’t mean I can’t be hopeful.
You can continue to spam “no, it’s not happening”, all you want. Blizz HAS changed their minds, SEVERAL times. So, we’ll see what the future holds
Exactly. Legacy Servers didn’t become a thing until TEN years of being asked. Who knows? Maybe it might take ANOTHER 10 years, for those clones to come back LOL
On top of that, Legacy Servers came out, BEFORE Blizz FINALLY caved about making that one mutli-boxing program that replicates one’s spells/actions a bannable offense. How many years did THAT one take of customers begging, complaining and whining?
AND, they learned from the anti-no changers to be a “#somechanges” stance. Blizz is CONSTANTLY changing their minds due to customer complaints. So, if it takes 10 or so years for Clones to come back, I can wait.
