I recently shelved my Feral because I don’t like being forced to play the more bite-based build that seems to be the meta for Feral druids. Has anyone tried utilizing the Circle of Life and Death legendary for a more bleed-oriented build for Feral druids? I know some people will run the Draught of Deep focus, but that only affects single target. I’m looking for a more balanced ST/AoE pressure style.
I had that it does improve my AoE but for ST I have to apply rake more often so not sure of it is worth it
I’m currently a draught of deep focus necrolord pvper but at the start of the expansion I was using circle of life and death and doing PvE, with primal wrath and lots of tab targeting you can do some decent cleave dmg but the biggest issue is that it makes adaptive swarm only last 9 seconds instead of 12 also on single target draught of deep focus isn’t that much better so you don’t have to use it if you really dislike it.
Also just for fun I did a simulation for my character with current talents and PvP gear/trinkets and I was able to hold 5k DPS without any consumables not sure if that’s good enough though
Draught is the ST bleed legendary and Circle is the AOE one.
Both are very good in their appropriate situations.
That’s what circle brings in value actually. If you think about your dots as having cooldowns, they have the biggest damage per cast, circle lowering the duration essentially lowers their “cooldown” per target so you can use that big damage per cast more often,
