I recently started this character to learn healing. I love clique and its simplicity but it creates spamming lua errors when I use it. I close the error and another pops right after. I don’t know much about healing addons so any input would be great.
I did try vuhdo and it was really confusing.
A ton of people use clique, my guess is it’s a conflict with another addon.
Try turning all addons except clique off and see if you still get the lua errors. then turn the ones you want to use on one by one to see where the errors start.

also bugsack and buggrabber can be helpful for containing and consolidating lua errors
I used to use Clique, but got tired of it not working for a week or two after a new release. When you use it, you really depend on it so this was not acceptable.
I switched to plain old mouseover macros. It’s a little more work to set them up but ultimately more flexible. E.g. for efflo you can do like:
#showtooltip
/cast [@cursor] Efflorescence
To get instant placement. Of course you can bind to a custom macros using Clique as well but then what’s the point… Also, since Clique doesn’t use WoW’s macros, if you want the same macro on your action bar you have to duplicate the code.
The catch to this, for me was key bindings. I use an MMO mouse so being able to bind all of the buttons differently per character and spec was crucial. For that I use Binpad, which is just a key to macro or spell addon that has per characters and spec profiles. It also supports unlimited “binpad” macros in case you exhaust WoW’s stock limit.
I guess in the end I swapped being dependent on Clique for being dependent on Binpad, but so far Binpad has been flawless with timely updated.
Hi Adazo,
I’d do what Anna said to find any conflicts. And make sure you’re up to date on “ALL” addons. I’ve used clique and Vudoo without Errors forever.
I personally like to use Clique and Vuhdo. Vuhdo does have Clique pass-through if you like, but I don’t use it.
Here’s what i do and I’ll help you get up and running if you like. I use Clique for my DPS spells, (Rotation) personal CD etc. Then I use Vuhdo for all healing spells.
Go to automaticjak’s site and Export / copy his UI. ( Open Vuhdo Tools tab > Import.) Copy his entire string that he gives you. That will give you nice bars to start with. You can customize from there. Size, orientation etc.
The button binding is where many people get a little confused. I’ll assume you have a MMO mouse. Many ppl have their mmo mice buttons bound to keys, number pad buttons or whatever. In Vuhdo Spells tab > mouse menu it will only see the left and right button on your mmo mouse because of this. Button 4, 5 etc won’t be recognized.
So, go Spells tab > “Keys Local” menu. Click Add (the Green button at the bottom) It will then say “New Binding”. Open your spell book and drag / drop the spell you want on top of bind. Then next to that click “bound”, it will start flashing. Click whatever mouse button / key you want. Done.
It basically works just like Clique, when mousing over the Bars. I’ll add you can also run macros etc. But this will get you up and running. Once you spend a little time in Vuhdo, you’ll see it seems overwhelming at the start, but isn’t too bad to use. Especially if you start with nice bars from someone like automaticjak. Anyways, I hope this makes a little sense and helps you. Good Luck!

Another option if Clique still gives you problems is to try Healbot. Some people hate it around here, but I’ve been using it since BC and I do like it. The creator is always helpful on his forums, as well. He helped me to fix a couple issues I was having with the newer version.
