Climate Change In Game Event

So I just had a pretty cool idea.

With the current acceleration of climate change happening in our real world, causing a record number of wildfires and hurricanes, I think this would be a good time to have an in game event to raise awareness for the dangers of man made climate change.

You could call the event “A Green New Deal for Azeroth”, and maybe offer a charity pet, with proceeds going to organizations that help the cause.

WoW did have an event, the pre-patch for Cataclysm. The elements went bonkers for awhile.

So you are the coming ice age all the scientist were screaming about back in the 80’s and 90’s. Back before everyone jumped on the global warming bank wagon, later rebranded to climate change.
