The game client that WoW Classic is currently using for Cataclysm Classic is having obscurely strange side effects than it did before during Wrath Classic.During Wrath Classic the game was using the Legion client I believe and all was fine and functioning fine, but ever since Cataclysm Classic the game client was shifted to Dragonflight and demonstrated maneuvering issues with camera adjustment while moving my character. Also, there are random moments where the game drops frames per second to very low numbers to where its almost unplayable and prevents me from moving my character again as well nor can I function my character whatsoever with simultaneously experiencing lag.So now that I’m done explaining my issue, is there a way you can revert the game client or cure the bug that I’m experiencing or is there a way for me to use a previous version of WoW’s game client that was more reliable for me?
No. The client has to be synchronized to an associated server version. Any attempt to connect to the servers with an outdated client shows “Realm Incompatible” errors and denies access into the game.
Sorry, I had made a GM ticket notifying them of my problem and I copied and pasted what I said to them word for word and decided to plug it into the bug report forums.Afterall, that was their recommendation in their unhelpful response to me.
Also that is a shame, it makes me wonder if others are having the same problems running the game as I am.
