I’ve removed all addons, all saved configs, complete uninstall and reinstall. Game was working though stuttering and then I ran /console gamepadenable 1 and it crashed out, and now won’t relaunch.

I was playing the pre-patch just fine but after changing toons, the whole client crashed. I have tried different toons, different servers, restarted the client, restarted the computer, shutdown the computer, removed WTF and Interface, removed all addons, ran the scan/repair tool, deleted the whole game and reinstalled all 86 gigs; still doesn’t load back into the game. I get about 80% of the blue bar loading screen and then the whole client just disappears.

any update or change? It has not changed on my end…
I was able to get the game to load by going to the wow dir and running the exe as administrator (after a crash.) I also set the permission on the folder for all application packages to ‘full’ as well. it still fails to load sometimes via the launcher, but if it does that I go to the wow.exe and load from there and it will load.
I narrowed this down to /console Gamepadenable 1 causing the crash. The bizarre part is it works on the beta servers fine. I can’t explain that.
