Does any one know how to change clicking frames and portrait to click down instead of up, blizz changed this in 12.0.7
There’s a CVar for it. Grab AdvancedInterfaceOptions and search for keydown
That’s for action bar press unfortunately not clicking frames 
seems there seperate settings.
Ah, my bad. I feel like mouse has always been on release because pressing and holding the left mouse button is for moving the camera (and right mouse is for changing character facing).
You might be able to change that behavior for raid and other frames with something like Clique or possibly Blizzard’s click casting stuff. Or you could save yourself the click entirely with mouseover macros etc.
Yea it was on key down prior to 12.0.7 changed that though, it adds latency to healing where its specifically noticeable like a lot of the time heals will go on the previous target due to this

Yeah, I’d recommend just enabling mouseover casting and save yourself the click entirely.
