Click Click CLICKY CLICK!

When there is lag that’s when it’s also annoying when you can’t pick up loot and interact with NPC’s.

Indeed, autoloot system has been broken for a very long time now as well as interacting with NPC’s you randomly have to interact 2-3 times.

How many times to click on a mage portal to Dornogal before it works???

This bug can normally be fixed by selecting a different NPC and then coming back to the quest giver.

If it isn’t then flying away real quick and coming back can help.

I legitimately can’t imagine my inventory getting anywhere close to full given just how large modern bags are.

I mean why loot at all it seems to create a issue with the game. All money and loot should be automatic at this point with out the need to right click a thing.

I feel like this has been an issue for years. The looting bug has only been during the past year or so for me.

You’d be surprised. I don’t play enough to do all the egg hatches and combine 5 items. Plus misc stuff I do like having all those lucky pieces for the Fel Cycle

It adds up.

Glad it’s not just me. This seems to be happening anywhere, from Undermined to Hallowfall.

Fastest way to fix this is to report that we are getting 1000’s of extra gold when looting while using a Logitech center mouse key command. Don’t tell them how, just make em panic over the gold economy.

No one should have to do that though.
Interacting with an NPC or looting a corpse is basic 101 WoW since Day 1.

I think the loot bug actually appeared during the tail-end of Dragonflight, but the one with NPC interactions has been around since, like, BfA, it was just rarer.

From what I can tell, the former is an issue with the first time you see two of an identical item dropped or procced for something after logging in (you can easily replicate it on a Skinner with Carve Meat, since it makes mobs drop 2 Piles of Unidentified Meat)

I assume the latter involves a bugged interaction with the “automatically re-open dialogue when there’s more to do” function they added and whatever triggers scripting on NPCs (like making them RP after turning something in) causing the dialogue window to fail to open while failing to drop whatever flags you as currently interacting with them.

I thought it was an addon that my spouse and I both use causing the conflict.

And MicroActaBlizz is happy for everyone to think this… I mean I thought it was something I was doing.

They are becoming (not just from this issue it just adds to it) the poster child for what not to do.

Going to loot and it doesn’t auto-loot is the reason I usually send my pet to fetch instead.

That and being lazy.

I am glad to see I am not the only one. I have been having that problem for a while now.

First I thought it was my PC failing, which strangely enough my sons managed to break my graphic card, but it persisted after I replaced it.

Then I thought it was my fault somehow.

SOOOOO ANNOOOOYYYINNNNNGGGGG

It’s like every fourth loot! I don’t want to click twice! :sob: I even looked into finding an addon that will supposedly help with this stupid issue…

It’s largely performance based from what I’ve seen, i.e. if there’s a lot of world events in a zone (world boss, theater, nightfall, w/e) it intermittently breaks auto loot. Why you almost never see this in instanced content.

Overall there’s been a large performance degradation in open world with large player counts since TWW launch.

No loot for you!

Auto loot has been bugged since TWW launched, they don’t seem to care.
