Cleave or Warbreaker in raids?

According to Icy-Veins I should use Warbreaker in raids. Is the reason for that to line up Avatar, Warbreaker and Bladestorm to deal burst aoe?

Wouldn’t Cleave deal more consistent damage in add heavy fights

If you need to focus-dps the boss, then switch to spawning adds, quickly dispatch them and come back to the boss, then high-burst AOE is better than sustained.

Cleave is a meme spell unless they make it baseline

Sure, if you needed consistent add damage. But you don’t. And there’s not fights where constant spread damage matters.

Add to that the burst of WB just gives more output right now.

It is most certainly not.

This is not up for debate, cleave is still a good talent. There are currently no scenarios where it excels above the other options.

That does not make it a “meme”.

Incorrect as well.

Just because there’s currently no fights that favor it, doesn’t make it bad. It’s the first tier of the expansion for God’s sake.
