Otherwise BM hunter AOE would of been fixed. I give up the good old fight. They win. They let us lose. I had to reroll after investing 2 weeks of grinding. Cannot get into a real mythic is group being a hunter. I don’t blame the group leaders either. I wouldn’t invite a crap class in the state it is now either. But really. It was a simple fix. So shame on you is the nicest thing I can say, really would rather use more profound words because I’m tilted.

Lots of hunters think of themselves specifically as BM hunters as that is the only spec of the class they like - and there is nothing wrong with that. We all know what OP is saying.

Offense taken, because you are just wrong. Each spec needs to be viable in every type of content. This “you play a class not a spec” is utter hogwash, and it immediately breaks down when you apply any logic to it.
Look at classes like Druid or Monk. If one of the specs suck you just supposed to change you whole role? That’s really you argument?
Look at Legion, where you where picked a spec at the beginning and had to double down on it because of the artifact weapons.
Why even have specs if the aren’t all going to be viable? Why even let a spec que for content if you aren’t goin to give them the tools to run it?
You don’t compare hunter to monks or druids. You compare them to mages, locks, warriors and other pure dps classes or classes with multiple dps specs
Yes, you do. You compare all the classes to each other. You compare all the specs to each other spec. Because there are only two questions you have to ask:
Is the spec fun?
Is the spec balanced?
“JuSt SwItCh SpEcS” isn’t an answer to any of those.
What if both MM and BM where in the toilet and Survival was the only good spec? You’d expect all hunters to switch from ranged to melee ?
Just because you don’t care what spec you are playing doesn’t meant other people don’t. If I’m only having fun playing one spec, and the spec isn’t viable, why am I playing the game? Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean you get to tell other people they can’t care.

You’re comparing a hybrid to a pure. And yes if the class isn’t good they can either change their role or re roll. That’s been their options.

AOE is going to get helped, but unfortunately not as soon as you’d like. The changes will be here in November.
