First and Foremost, there should be a warning when you pick up this quest that lets you know that 1. You HAVE to be resto to complete it AND that you CANNOT abandon it once you have picked it up. That means YOU CANNOT GO TO HYJAL without being forced to do this quest and you CANNOT abandon this quest. So basically if you pick this quest up and can’t restro like me your character can no longer go to hyjal. The help for this quest suggests that you change your spec, talents, bars, AND put an add on on your game along with taking off your gear and leveling down to some weird algorithm of item level that allows you the CHANCE (not guaranteed) to complete this quest and then after all that you get glitched out and have to then go through steps to reload the UI and re enter the area… Just so you can get a weapon that you will replace in a few levels,… Like I said, my one big complaint is they should let you know that if you accept this quest, you have to do it. Now the Druid I leveled up to farm leather from firelands… can’t go to the firelands… because you cannot abandon this quest… So be aware… Oh and apparently Blizzards answer to this is… do the quest… soooo yea, I hope at least 1 other person reads this BEFORE They accept this ridiculous quest and opts out before it’s too late…

Sadly, no one goes looking for information on this quest before hand. I am sure it is after multiple party wipes where the healer is to blame that anyone thinks to even look for this.
Today, my level 20 Worgen druid is certain this is the Kobayashi Maru of prepatch Shadowlands. In all likely hood I will have to wait until completing Shadowlands max level to come back and attempt this…just to clear it out of my quest log since you can’t drop the cursed quest.
