Heretofore, I have just taken off both side panels, and used a reversed hose on my small vacuum, so it would blow instead of suck, but my IT pro, said don’t do that, that this might damage some of the smaller parts and void the warranty.
I hate the use of canned air, but I like to check with this forum before I do anything with my rig. At 74, I just like to get a second opinion, being I paid $1500 for it.
So would you mind sharing your cleaning method(s) with me, please?
Thank you

Sending air through plastic/vinyl could create a static charge. That would not be a good thing. Plus who knows what materials may be trapped in those hoses.

i gently hit mine with an air compressor from a distance making sure not to get near the power supply
other times when i feel it needs a real cleaning i will get the anti static cans of air spray and get it all as well as cleaning the cpu with alcohol and adding some new cpu Thermal paste
On Amazon search for a product called “DataVac”. It is designed to do what you’re doing and is safer.
