I really hope they reconsider their stance on this for Shadowlands. They rescinded their no blue eyes for blood elves. I think they could easily flip a switch and add race class combinations. It’s not like we are going to trainers anymore to gain abilities.

That’s the thing though! The Blood Elves and Draenei had monk trainers retroactively added to fit in with their races being able to be Monks respectively.

Even more reason why there’s very little sense in excluding them now. I think there could have been ways to justify it in the past. A Pandaren from Shen-zin Su could have reached Kezan as the turtle passed by at some point. As for Worgen, if Darius wasn’t already a Warrior companion for the Legion class hall, I’d argue that he could have become the Monk trainer. He fits the brawler archetype from the moment you encounter him anyway.

BElf druids or shaman would destroy the game. For cringey convoluted lore gymnastics reasons and for population imbalance reasons.
To paraphrase ghostcrawler, wanting a pretty druid aint enough of a reason.

I disagree. And clearly that wasn’t the case with adding Void Elves to the alliance and now giving them all the blood elf skin colors.
I’ve already given reasons that druids could be added for Blood Elves. I’m not simply asking because they are pretty. I’m saying thematically they make sense and with simple writing could be added in.
Orcs and Dwarves could also have druidism added to their repertoire as well pandarens.
I think you’re just pushing back simply because you don’t like blood elves.
There are cases to be made for lots of race class combinations that could and should be added.
The Blackrock Clan was integrated into the Mag’har Orc Allied Race. It’s the very first skin color, to boot, with the orange, glowing eyes.

They did a 180 on the blood elf and void elf thing fast. Honestly its a no brainer.

I’m hopeful threads like this gain traction and influence them to change their minds.
Beta is a long road and adding new race class combinations wouldn’t be hard.

I 100% agree we need more options. Most have in game examples. Unfortunately some classes have race specific things that would need to updated for the new races. Namely paladins and druids. Paladins have race specific mounts and druids have race specific forms.
Personally I want to see undead, night elf, and void elf paladins. Just give them the human mounts till later in the expansion when you can add in new mounts for the races.

MU Blackrocks have not been integrated with their MU counterpart, yet
I haven’t seen that skin ever before, when making a normal green-skin Orc, in the past 14 years. And the link doesn’t work. No screenshots either.
That is quite literally the point. Orcs do not have this skin color, it is also the only MU (corrupted) orc clan to use priests. Hence my post.
If they are integrated, there is an argument for Orc Priests.

And also the existence of the Rangari, which are supposedly also Draenei rogues

Really don’t see why they were denied rogues especially after Warlords of Draenor. They should’ve been added at the last patch or going into Legion. But then again that can be said for lots of race class combinations. They should’ve been added a long time ago.
I’ve wanted regular human shamans for awhile now to for much the same reasons you list yours. Go level through Stranglethorn the Kurzan have been there for a LONG time and they have shamans but we don’t along with your examples and some more.
